Have you ever made a custom QR code for your business? The first time that I ever tried to create a QR code for my brand I messed up big time! The issue for me was I went to google and did a search on how to create a custom QR code. This led me to a website where I was able to easily create the QR code graphic. The issue with this is I didn't read the fine print! I used this QR code to print over 500 postcards to give away to customers and handed them out at a conference. One of my customers scanned the code in front of me and guess what. It didn't work! It led them to a 404 page not found display. I screwed up so badly! One quick tip when it comes to QR code creation. Use a QR code generator that doesn't charge monthly to keep it active. There are tools out there like Adobe Express that won't charge you monthly to keep the link active. Learn from my mistake and use a reputable tool.
